Club grounds flattened

On Tuesday 23 April, a digger and driver, hired by the club changed the landscape of the Chester Motor Boat Club forever. The raised area had long made it difficult for people to manoeuvre their boats back up on to their moorings after they had been out on the water. At a recent committee meeting, the club agreed to relocate earth from the dry moorings and position it on the slope leading up the the road, which would also improve access for trailers in and out of the club grounds.

Thanks to Ken Doughty (maybe more people) who was/were on hand to assist during the day. A great job well-done.
